Bird in Hand

This mandala’s roots is in the hamsa symbol, which is believed to protect and ward off evil. As you will see, birds emerged from the larger fingers on either side, with eggs cropping up throughout the drawing, too.
“A bird in hand is worth in the bush” quote warns us not to be too greedy and be content and grateful for the “sure thing” we have. It’s spring time, and lots of good things are about to crack open. But grateful what you have now, and know there is much more to come.
Three is a powerful number, and three chiefly chicks emerged at the top of the basket. Think of them of the three wise men of Easter or spring. Be thankful for any kind advice or helpful information than may come from a wise man, woman or even a pet. They have their own ways of communicating with us and encouraging us to do things which are good for us. Like taking a break from our devices and going outside for a walk.
