The Timeless Journey of the Heart

This original mandala drawing, from the abstract series, shows everything centered  around the heart. It’s a light source, at the root of the sun and radiating out. It’s leaving a trail of feathers in its wake like breadcrumbs to inspire others. The mandala wants us to know that the heart sees thing clearly.

Containing a hint of American patriotic elements, this drawing carries an optimistic message: Let the heart light the way. Even the darker chandelier type shapes are well defined and lit.

Time is even farther out in the outermost rung of the circle. And this is how it is with love, it doesn’t always come at the right time or on schedule. It doesn’t care about such things.

This mandala is special to me because it emphasizes the 3 and 9. One of my nephews was born on March 9th and has always been a source of inspiration in my life. Learning to love a miniature “man” helped me learn how to trust and open the door to finding my husband, Brad.

All mandayla designs are done on 12 by 12 acid-free scrapbook paper. They are hand-drawn with Sharpie permanent markers and acid-free gel pens.

Each mandala comes in a 12 by 12 metal black frame, with a white or black matte.
